Biletnikoff Favorite?

Junior WR Robert Woods was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award last year, but lost out to Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon, who was named the nation's top receiver for the second consecutive season.  Blackmon and Oklahoma's Ryan Broyles, the other finalist, are gone to the NFL leaving Woods as the presumptive favorite as the preseason watch list was released today.

Marqise Lee, who many around Heritage Hall believe will be Woods' stiffest competition for Biletnikoff honors, was not among the nominees because true sophomores are not eligible for the preseason list.  However, he can be added midseason.

Woods broke the Pac-12 single season catch record in 2011.  No Trojan has ever won the Biletnikoff Award.
