Tennis has no offseason. Fresh off a men's national championship and a women's Final Four, Steve Johnson, Ray Sarmiento and Zoe Scandalis were selected to compete this summer on the USTA Collegiate Team, which serves as an elite training program for young American talents.

The trio will be part of a team of nine men and seven women who will compete on the USTA Pro Circuit after attending a Pro Tour Transitions training camp.
Johnson will officially turn pro this summer, including a second scheduled appearance at the U.S. Open in New York, while Sarmiento and Scandalis are expected to anchor the men's and women's teams next year at USC.
