USC finished seventh overall in the 2011-12 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, which measures the athletic department's postseason success across every sport, but the Trojans boasted the best spring teams in the country.

Surprised that they didn't subtract points for the major sports of basketball , baseball, and Track & Field especially on the men side. Basketball has never won a ncaa title, baseball only one in the last 34 yrs., men track & no field not since the late seventies. Men swimming in the same boat. Golf also a zero for ever so far. Twenty two years for volleyball although team did win the choking title last three out of four seasons. This is why Langston hired Mike Garrett to be their AD.
