The Women of Troy turned out in droves for one of our most popular events yesterday. Football 101 provided the experience to learn more about the game from the coaches as well as participate in the Trojan Walk, the locker room atmosphere and play on the famed Coliseum turf.

A huge thank-you to all the coaches and their wives who were involved in this amazing event. It was an absolutely wonderful day from start to finish. It was such a non-threatening and fun way to learn more about the game and our WONDERFUL Trojan team and coaches. We could be as involved in the activities (including playing football on the Coliseum field) as we chose, or we could just sit and enjoy the day. After spending the day with Coach Kiffin and staff I understand part of the reason our young men are so amazing, both on and off the field. They are surrounded by tremendous role models in our coaches who work diligently to build positive character in our young men, as well building as their athletic skills. This day will remain a highlight of the year for my daughter-in-law (who made a successful tackle) and me. It will definitely be an annual event for us. The difference is that next year we will be bringing many more of our family members and friends. Thank you for such a great day!
