2011 World Champion high jumper Jesse Williams finished fourth at the U.S. Olympic Trials, which typically means a ticket home, but the USC alum is headed to London 2012 because third place finisher Nick Ross could not meet the Olympic A standard.

Despite qualifying through the back door, Williams is still a favorite to compete for a medal in the high jump if he can regain his form from a year ago.
"I was jumping terrible and I thought my dreams were crushed," Williams said. "But this meet is about getting your ticket to London. That's the way it happens sometimes and I'm grateful."
