"I'm indebted to Peter Smith and the USC Athletic Department for an incredible three seasons," Husack said.  "Peter not only prepared his players for practice, competition and life, but also his coaches and I'm excited about the next chapter in my career.  My family and I are going to miss the Trojan Family but know that the memories created and friendships formed will never be lost.  Fight On."

Husack joins women's basketball coach Laura Beeman (Hawaii) as the second Trojan assistant to earn a top college job this year.

Jordan, who is Husak kidding about his time at USC. He had very little or nothing to do with the three titles won with Steve Johnson already in place along with Daniel Ngyuen. He was fortunate that he got the job now that the big run is over. The Tide is my 2nd rooting team behind of course the Trojans so hope he accomplishes something down there in Tuscaloosa. Regarding coach Laura Beeman going to Hawaii it is not a top college job, and was forced out by the athletic dept. who wanted a completely new staff for Cooper next season.
