Dunlap Breaks Ceiling

Former USC men's basketball assistant Mike Dunlap, who was most recently Steve Lavin's right-hand man at St. John's, was named the head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats becoming the first college assistant to jump directly to an NBA head coaching gig.

Dunlap worked at Troy under George Raveling and then went on to learn from Lute Olson at Arizona and Ernie Kent at Oregon among others.
