Double Breaker

Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Soni twice broke her U.S. Olympic Swim Trials record in the 100m breaststroke yesterday en route to grabbing the top seed in tonight's final.

Soni's Trojan Swim Club teammate Jessica Hardy, who went to Cal, but trains at USC under head coach Dave Salo, is the No. 2 seed after the semifinals and the current long course world record holder in the event.

The pair will square off in tonight's final knowing that the top two finishers are headed to London 2012, so it could just be a precursor of the big race to come.
