Big O Salute

USC men's basketball senior Renaldo Woolridge, who transferred from Tennessee, lost his father Orlando Woolridge to a chronic heart condition a couple of weeks ago.

Orlando had a 13-year NBA career, including stints on Michael Jordan's Bulls and Magic Johnson's Lakers, during which he was known as a high-flying dunker.  Renaldo inherited his father's basketball genes as well as his flare.

While the younger Woolridge does not have a showy game, known best as a jump shooter, he expresses himself as an entertainer behind the microphone.  As a talented young hip hop artist under the moniker "Swiperboy," Renaldo has gained an internet following.

His latest release is a heartfelt tribute to his father...
