USC women's golf, women's soccer and men's indoor track and field were honored with Public Recognition Awards by the NCAA for consistent academic excellence.
The women's golf team has paced the field with seven consecutive APR awards, while women's soccer (pictured below) earned recognition for the sixth time in the seven years of the APR's existence. The APR takes into account multi-year academic performance.

"These teams prove that it is possible to not only balance academic and athletic commitment, as most student-athletes do; but to exceed standards and post outstanding academic scores," said NCAA President Mark Emmert. "The drive and determination shown in the classroom and on the field by these men and women represent what it means to be an NCAA student-athlete."
