USC men's swimmer Alex Lendrum and men's tennis senior Daniel Nguyen made the Capital One Academic All-America Division I second and third team respectively.Click here for the full story.
Both athletes are superstars on both sides of the student-athlete hyphen.
Lendrum boasts a 3.74 GPA majoring in biochemistry, while also earning first team All-American honors as a finalist in the 200y backstroke at NCAAs.
Nguyen was the consummate team leader and clutch performer on four consecutive national championship men's tennis teams. He clinched the NCAA title for USC as a sophomore and junior.
In the classroom, he graduated with a communications degree and a 3.43 GPA. Nguyen also made the 2012 Pac-12 All-Academic first team.
