No. 6 USC women's rowing cut through heavy winds to win the San Diego Crew Classic for the second consecutive year.  The Women of Troy pushed past a field loaded with some of the nation's best teams like No. 1 Virginia, No. 2 Cal and No. 5 Stanford.

"I am very excited about the prospects of the Varsity Eight this season," said head coach Zenon Babraj after the season opener.  "They are a very confident and mature group of athletes who share a strong love for racing."
