Earlier this week, we posted the big contract news for Mark Sanchez and Lofa Tatupu. Since NFL free agency officially began though, more Trojans are on the move and in the news.
CB Terrell Thomas re-signed with the New York Giants. Thomas was sidelined for the Super Bowl winning season with a knee injury, but earned a 4-year, $28 million deal for his consistent play since leaving USC.
- DE Frostee Rucker moved within the AFC North by signing a 5-year $20 million deal with the Cleveland Browns.
- OL Winston Justice was traded from the Eagles to the Colts. He will be asked to fortify an offensive line expected to protect rookie QB Andrew Luck.
- C Kris O'Dowd will be reunited with Mark Sanchez after the Jets picked him up this week. The undrafted center was cut by the Cardinals during training camp last year.
- QB Matt Leinart was cut by the Houston Texans after a collarbone injury cost him his chance to start last season.
