Sports dynasties are usually brought down by complacency and/or attrition.  No. 1 USC men's tennis has brushed aside both and every other opponent along the way this season.

USC is on a 38-match winning streak after chomping on No. 10 Florida yesterday at Marks Stadium.

Despite a starting singles lineup featuring two freshmen and two sophomores, head coach Peter Smith has created a winning culture that has been passed down from class to class.  From Robert Farah to Steve Johnson to Ray Sarmiento, the bar continues to be raised for the next generation.  

Smith has not built a great team; he's constructed a championship program.  Here's our midseason checkup with the head coach...
