Hammer Time

USC's women's throwers are hammering the competition this season.  Led by sophomore Jenny Ozorai, the deep roster of hammer throwers have taken the top five spots in two of the last three meets.

At last weekend's Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton, Ozorai's only rivals were in the Trojan history books.  She set a personal record of 223-4 (68.08m), which places her second all-time in USC history.

Ozorai (pictured below) is backed up by a handful of top teammates.  Senior Marissa Minderler placed third in Fullerton, but set a personal record of 212-9 (64.83m), which is fourth on the USC all-time list.  Jade Niemeyer also cracked the 200-foot barrier with her fourth place finish of 201-2 (61.31m).

Lauren Chambers, Ashley Pyka and Alexandra Collatz have also placed in the top five this season.
