Sophomore swimmer Vladimir Morozov won USC's first 50y freestyle title since 1996 at the Pac-12 Championships Thursday in Monterey Park, CA.  The Trojans are in fourth place after day two.

Morozov out-touched Cal standout Nathan Adrian by .07 of a second (19.48 to 19.55).  He also continued USC's streak of 16 consecutive years with at least one conference champion.

Morozov swam the lead leg on the 200y free relay as well, but the Trojans were nipped by .04.
