In 2011, USC men's volleyball were the hunted. Coming into this season under the national radar, the Trojans were positioned as the hunters.
Led by Tony Ciarelli, who had 28 kills and 11 digs, No. 6 men's volley claimed a mighty scalp Saturday in Palo Alto by knocking off No. 1 Stanford in 5 sets. The Trojans closed out the upset 15-13 in the 5th.
USC returns to Galen Center this weekend for a pair of showdowns with Hawaii (Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.).
