USC diver Victoria Ishimatsu has already done it all. She has been named Pac-10 Diver of the Meet the last two years, while winning back-to-back titles in both the springboard events, including the 3-meter the last three years.
In her final season, she only needs to do it again. If Ishimatsu can take top of the podium in the 3-meter springboard, she will become the first woman in conference history to win any diving event four consecutive years.
Ishimatsu will lead a talented USC women's swimming and diving squad into the inaugural Pac-12 Championships. The No. 7 Women of Troy begin competition today at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
The Trojans finished third last season with Katinka Hosszu taking Swimmer of the Meet honors. Hosszu, Haley Anderson and Kasey Carlson are favored to tally the most points for Dave Salo's team against the Pac-12's best in 2012.
