Volleyball Magazine is the latest publication to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of USC women's volleyball trio Alex Jupiter, Kendall Bateman and Natalie Hagglund.
Jupiter was named the National Player of the Year as well as a First Team All-American joining Bateman and Hagglund. The Women of Troy placed three members on Volleyball Magazine's All-American team for only the second time ever (1977).
The Trojans were ranked No. 1 in the nation before falling to Illinois in the national semifinals.
Also, senior setter Kendall Bateman (pictured by Pierson Clair) announced that she will be joining the inaugural USC women's sand volleyball team for her final semester at Troy. Competition begins on the beach in the middle of March.

Each post-season accolade feels like salt in the wound without a national title.
