Schedule Breakdowns

By now you have broken down USC's 2012 schedule umpteen times and made initial predictions and projections, but how is the rest of the Pac-12 going to shape up?

ESPN Pac-12 blogger Ted Miller breaks down every team's schedule in and out of conference.

With the conference schedule rotation, the luck of the draw can play a major factor in how the standings shake out.  For example, Utah was fortunate to dodge No. 4 Stanford and No. 6 Oregon this past season and will avoid the Cardinal and Ducks again in 2012.

In the non-conference slate, the Pac-12 will continue its reputation of taking on all comers including No. 1 LSU (Washington), No. 3 Oklahoma State (Arizona), No. 9 Wisconsin (Oregon State) and Ohio State (Cal).  However, the Oregon Ducks, which have battled LSU and Boise State in recent years, should maintain a lofty preseason ranking after starting the season with Arkansas State, Fresno State and Tennessee Tech.

The Oregon vs. USC showdown at the Coliseum could be the Pac-12 game of the year.

USC and UCLA of the South schedule Cal and Stanford of the North every year and each team rotates every 2 years with the remaining 4 teams of the other division. I assume these remaining 4 teams of each division also have yearly match-ups against 2 teams of the other division. My guess is Wash and WSU schedule Utah and Col and Ore and OSU schedule Ariz and ASU. Is this correct?
