The Pac-12 named Matt Barkley the Offensive Player of the Week for his six touchdown performance against Colorado.
Head coach Lane Kiffin on his quarterback: "He's playing really well. I don't know how much better you do with this many young guys and this much inexperience in front of him. Matt makes a lot of plays out of rhythm because he has to. I think that's actually made him better."
Kiffin did pinpoint "deep ball accuracy" as Barkley's one area that needs improvement.
