USC QB Matt Barkley was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for his record-setting night featuring 35 completions (school record) of 42 attempts (83.3%) for 423 yards and 6 TDs in a 50-0 rout of UCLA.

Barkley grabbed the honor for the fourth time this season.  Trojans were awarded Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week six times (Barkley, Robert Woods and Marqise Lee), Defensive Player of the Week once (Hayes Pullard) and Special Teams Performer once (Lee) in 2011.

Of the six TDs, Barkley's falling toss to Rhett Ellison on 4th down was the most fun.

I just saw this over at It was a busy weekend, and I hadn't heard how the game went. Ouch...ouch. Well, now they can run along to the PAC 12 title game instead of us. Thanks, Pete!
