Trainer, Trojans Sweep Pac-10 Men's Golf

USC men's golf followed the women's lead by sweeping both the team and individual titles at the weekend's Pac-10 Championships at Stanford behind a clutch performance from sophomore Martin Trainer.

While it took extra holes in both competitions, the men's team took home the 19th conference crown in program history in a one hole playoff over Oregon.  Trainer needed seven additional holes to outlast Oregon State's Alex Moore to become the 21st Trojan to win the individual title.

"We are over the moon right now," USC head coach Chris Zambri said after winning his second conference title.  "Everyone is pretty stoked.  It's just nice to have guys playing well and have a season that wasn't going great and to have everyone step up their game and all of the sudden become a really good team."
