Here are two great numbers from last week's student-athlete graduation:
-- 8 of the 19 sports have already graduated 100% of this year's senior class. Plus, 18 of the 19 sports expect 100% of this year's senior class to graduate by next spring.
-- 109 of the 111 participating senior student-athletes are on pace to graduate by next spring. 83 of the 111 have already earned their degrees.
"Our expectation is that every student-athlete who stays four years will earn a degree," said Magdi El Shahawy, associate athletic director in charge of Student-Athlete Academic Services. "We are pleased to see that virtually every student from this year's senior class will graduate."
