Closing Time

While USC baseball will not make it to the postseason this year, they are closing the conference season like a contender for the crown.  The Trojans have won six out of their last nine, including grabbing two wins on Tuesday against Pepperdine, heading into the season finale against Washington State.

The Cougars are in town for a three-game set at Dedeaux Field with first pitch times of 6 p.m. tonight, 2 p.m. Saturday and Noon on Sunday.

Against ninth place Wazzu, the fifth place Trojans can continue to surge up the conference standings.  USC, Arizona and Stanford are all 12-12 in Pac-10 play with Cal at 13-11.

Come salute the seniors and departing juniors in their final series this weekend!

Junior Andrew Triggs is on the bump tonight.
