USC women's golf is now ranked No. 1 by Golfweek.com, Golf World and Golfstat.com after placing first and second in their past two events.
The Women of Troy have three of the nation's top 8 golfers, including No. 3 senior Lizette Salas, No. 5 junior Lisa McCloskey and No. 8 freshman Sophia Popov, according to Golfweek.com.
Troy finished second yesterday at the 37th Annual PING/ASU Intercollegiate in Tempe, Ariz., and play continues through Sunday, April 3.
