At the USC baseball banquet Sunday, the 1961 national championship team was honored.
To pay tribute to their legendary head coach, the title team sang a round of Rod Dedeaux's post-game anthem "McNamara's Band."
After the '61 rendition, new head coach Frank Cruz commanded his troops to join the greats on stage and accompany them in song.
