USC women's basketball junior guard Ashley Corral doubled up on Trojan history last night when she became the 23rd player to score 1,000 points in a career for the Women of Troy and grabbed the #1 spot on the all-time three-point list, all while leading the team to a much needed road win.
Fittingly, the long distance shooter notched her 1,000th point while burying her first three-pointer of the night joining teammate Briana Gilbreath in that exclusive club.
Corral's fourth triple secured her spot in history passing Brynn Cameron on the career list with 184 and counting.
Corral started the season #4 on the all-time list behind Cameron, Eshaya Murphy and Camille Lenoir, but the junior's sharpshooting has been key to USC's resurgence under Michael Cooper.
