Women's Volley All-Americans

While they prepare for Thursday's Final Four showdown with Cal, three USC women's volleyball stars were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American teams.

Junior outside hitter Alex Jupiter made the first team after earning third team honors last season, while sophomore setter Kendall Bateman landed on the second team.

Junior middle blocker Lauren Williams is a third-team All-American.

As you can see, the Trojan trio are all underclassmen, so Mick Haley's squad was really expected to be dominant next season, but they are just two wins from the 2010 national championship.

The Trojans are on second tomorrow night with an approximate start time of 6 p.m. pacific (8 p.m. local central time).  The match will air live on ESPN2 (HD) and ESPN3.com plus we'll have LIVE audio on USCTrojans.com.

Jupiter is the first USC 1st-team All-American since Asia Kaczor in 2007.
