"The U"SC Connection

Former USC tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Brennan Carroll has been hired by the University of Miami  to assume the same role on Al Golden's new staff.

Carroll will join former Trojans' defensive line coach Jethro Franklin, who worked under Golden at Temple last year and will keep the same role with the Hurricanes.

Carroll took this year off from coaching football, but he worked under his father at USC for eight years, six as a full-time assistant.

During his tenure, he was known as a tenacious recruiter and helped tutor TE Fred Davis during his 2007 Mackey Award winning season.

lol and this is one of the people responsible for SC's talent drop off and lack of depth. Good luck in Miami!
