- The women's volleyball team split their weekend in the Bay Area, but they came away with a resounding victory against the #2 ranked Cal Bears on Friday night in four sets. The Trojans have handed the Bears their only two defeats this season.
- In front of a huge crowd at McDonald's Swim Stadium, the Trojan Family roared the men's water polo team to a dominating 8-5 victory over UCLA in the Crosstown Splashdown Saturday afternoon. Tobias Preuss tossed in a hat trick of goals.
- While the women's soccer team was dealt an early blow on their desert swing, they responded with a 5-0 blasting of Arizona to finish the regular season. They await selection into the NCAA tournament today at 1:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
- On the other side of the country, USC senior Maria Sanchez knocked off the #1 seed in three tights sets to win the National Indoor Tennis Championships. Steve Johnson, USC's men's #1, lost in the final of the same tournament.
- In case you missed it live on USCTrojans.com, the men's basketball team closed their preseason in impressive fashion racing out to a 20-point halftime lead on Point Loma Nazarene en route to a 69-49 victory. Freshman Bryce Jones impressed by knocking down four consecutive threes in the first half.
