Kevin O'Neill has reinforcements on the way as he looks to bolster a roster that was depleted by NCAA sanctions. The Trojans will welcome four new players next season, including two legitimate seven-footers.
KO's Take: "I am really, really excited about the class of 2011-2012," said O'Neill. "These guys will help stabilize our program and will serve as the beginning of us leaving all this negativity behind. Every one of these guys fits what we are looking for in players in terms of being good people, good students, and good athletes."
Here is the class of 2011:
Byron Wesley, SF, Etiwanda High School
Size: 6'5", 210 pounds
KO's Take: "Byron comes from a great program at Etiwanda. He is a multi-faceted wing player, who can play two or three spots and guard spots 1-4. His versatility will make him a valuable part of our team over the next four years."
Alexis Moore, G, Long Beach Poly
Size: 6'1", 180 pounds
KO's Take: "Alexis is as solid a guard as there is. He is a great dribble-pass-shoot guy and is going to be an excellent defender. He can guard at least two, possibly three, spots on the perimeter and will give us great flexibility. He comes from a great program and is a winner in every way, on and off the court. Alexis is an outstanding student who will be an ideal Trojan."
James Blasczyk, C, Lee Community College (Texas A&M transfer)
Size: 7'1", 260 pounds
KO's Take: "At 7'1" and 260 pounds, James is going to help give us depth on the front line. He shoots the ball extremely well for a big guy, runs the floor as well as anyone his size, and will be a great defender in and out because he moves his feet so well. He's just a hard-nosed, tough player."
DeWayne Dedmon, C, Antelope Valley College
Size: 7'0", 230 pounds
KO's Take: "Dewayne will come here in January, redshirt, and have three years of eligibility left. I have no doubt this guy will be a huge part of our team and future, on and off the court. He can run, rebound, and shoot and will only improve with time spent in the weight room and doing conditioning."

Wesley (below) will make an instant impact, but Dedmon's upside is tremendous.
