The Trojan Family expresses our sympathies to the entire Bruin Nation on the passing this evening of legendary UCLA coach John Wooden.
Coach Wooden, of course, proved to be a challenging opponent for numerous Trojan teams. But whether you wore Cardinal and Gold or Blue and Gold, you realized that he was much more than just a coach. His life lessons were applicable to all, no matter one's allegiance.
It's a sad day, indeed.
