The USC men's tennis team will defend its NCAA crown on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Pacific when it plays No. 2-seeded Tennessee (31-1).  The championship match will be shown live on ESPNU.

Coach Peter Smith's Trojans just knocked off top-seed Virginia, 4-2, in an NCAA semifinal match.  Fifth-seeded USC (24-3) won the doubles point by virtue of wins from the teams of JT Sundling-Daniel Nguyen and Steve Johnson-Robert Farah, then got singles victories from Farah, Peter Luccasen and Nguyen.

USC has won 17 men's team titles in tennis, tied for the most in the nation.

Go Trojans - beat the Vols!

Fight On!

I was at the NCAAs in 1993, 1994, and 1995, when the Trojans won 2... it was a great time. Nearly nothing better than watching our tennis teams claim championships...
