Men's tennis wins NCAA championship!

The USC men's tennis team just beat Tennessee, 4-2, to win the 2010 NCAA team championship and repeat as national champs.

Congratulations to coach Peter Smith and his players who participated today in Athens, Ga.:  Robert Farah, Steve Johnson, Matt Kecki, Peter Lucassen, Jaak Poldma, JT Sundling, Jason McNaughton and Daniel Nguyen, whose win at No. 4 singles clinched the title.

That's USC's 18th NCAA team title in men's tennis, more than any other school.

It's been a pretty good last 9 days for Trojan athletics, with NCAA crowns in women's water polo and men's tennis and an NCAA runner-up finish (by just one stroke) in women's golf.  And don't forget the men's water polo NCAA title last fall.

Stay tuned, as the men's and women's track, men's golf and women's rowing teams are headed to the NCAA championships in coming weeks.
