Several USC teams were in action this past weekend, tallying some W's for the Cardinal and Gold.
- The No. 6-ranked men's volleyball racked up a pair of wins against ranked opponents. First, after trailing 2-1 against No. 11 UC Irvine, the team rallied behind a career-high 28 kills by Tony Ciarelli to come away with the win.
On Saturday, the team took down rival No. 7 UCLA on Saturday in a three-set sweep at the Galen Center to improve to 13-9. Murphy Troy led the charge with 18 kills and the victory extended the Trojans' lead over UCLA in the Crosstown Gauntlet competition to 7.5 points at 42.5-35. The team travels to Pacific for its next game on Friday April 9.
- The No. 4-ranked men's tennis team tallied a 6-1 victory against visiting No. 17 California this past Saturday. Freshman JT Sundling clinched the match with his singles victory in straight sets of 6-4 and 6-2. The team faces Arizona this weekend in Tucson for its next match on Saturday April 10.
- Top-ranked women's water polo cruised past No. 19 Cal State Bakersfield and No. 10 Cal State Northridge by scores of 18-4 and 18-6, respectively, on Saturday. The No. 1-ranked Women of Troy extended their overall record to 17-1 with help from Joelle Bekhazi, who scored four goals in both games of the doubleheader. Next up for the team is a trip to Tempe, where the team will take on Arizona State on April 10.
