Cynthia Cooper, a guard on the Women of Troy's 1983 and 1984 NCAA championship teams, was named today to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

She joins Cheryl Miller, Sam Barry and Jack Gardner as Trojans in the Hall.

Also named to the 2010 Naismith class was Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss, who earned his master's and doctorate degrees at USC and then taught chemistry at the university.

Congratulations to both of them on this prestigious accomplishment.
