Come for the football, stay for the band

May 1st continues a long USC tradition: The Hardest Working Marching Band in the History of the Universe.

The Spirit of Troy and USC Song Girls will make their traditional appearance at the Spring Football game, and as per usual leave at halftime, only this year their day has only begun. The entire band will head over to the Galen Center to rehearse and then perform in "The Man on the Ladder" also known as Dr. Arthur C. Bartner's 40th Anniversary Gala.

As of now, tickets are still on sale for both fans and students. There are $40 and $75 seats still available for fans and student rush tickets are $10. The fesitivites begin at 8 pm.

So come experience a mantra which many a Trojan Football fan has lived by for the past 40 years thanks to Dr. Bartner:

"You come for the football team. You stay for the band."
