Coach Lane Kiffin's in a funny, playful mood today.
Instead of calling his coaches by their commonly accepted shortened first names, he's using the full names -- "Joseph" instead of "Joe," for example -- around the office this morning. The only obstacle to this full-fledged pursuit came when he called for defensive coordinator Ed Orgeron.
"Edwin? Edward?" Kiffin pondered out loud. "It's one of those, I'm sure."
So why the name game all of a sudden?
"I'm big on using people's full names," a lighthearted Kiffin said with a smile.
Even if it's just a temporary thing.
