The Pac-10 has taken another progressive step forward.
Woodie H. Dixon has been hired as the conference's general counsel and vice president of business affairs, commissioner Larry Scott announced today. Dixon, currently the general counsel for the Kansas City Chiefs, is the Pac-10's fifth splashy new hire in the past six weeks, joining deputy commissioner/chief operating officer Kevin Weiberg, chief financial officer Ron McQuate, chief marketing officer Danette Leighton and senior associate commissioner/SWA Gloria Nevarez on the conference's new leadership team.
