USC's Leonard Washington shoots during the Trojans 67-64 win at Washington on Thursday.
- The men's basketball team split its games at the two Washington schools this weekend and now sits 1.5 games out of first place in the Pac-10.
- Ending a five-game losing streak, the women's basketball team topped Washington, 56-51, on Saturday night at the Galen Center.
- To open the 2010 season, the baseball team took two of three from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. The Trojans will play their home opener on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Loyola Marymount.
- The No. 2-ranked women's water polo team beat No. 11 UC Irvine, 15-5, on Saturday.
- After a 3-2 comeback win over Pacific on Friday, the No. 3 men's volleyball team fell, 3-1, to No. 2 Stanford on Saturday at the Galen Center.
- The fifth-ranked men's tennis team toppled No. 15 Pepperdine, 6-1, on Friday in Malibu.
