Wednesday's Signing Day marks the official start to numerous players' Trojan careers, but three 2010 freshmen will be missing out on the milestone day for high school seniors.
Tailback Dillon Baxter, wideout Kyle Prater and defensive back Patrick Hall enrolled this spring at USC, meaning they won't actually sign a national letter of intent tomorrow. Unlike almost all other freshmen scholarship football players around the country -- who will sign letters of intent starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday -- USC's three early enrollees merely inked a financial aid agreement through the athletic department before starting school this semester. They miss out on the hoopla of Signing Day, but they make up for it by being in college and around their teammates a whole semester early.
