The renowned T-Raymobile just got an upgrade.
For several years, administrative advisor Terrel Ray, affectionately referred to as "T-Ray," had been scooting around campus to check class attendance for USC student-athletes in an older, simpler electric golf cart. But as of Thursday, he's been bumped up to first class.
Ray's new mode of transportation looks more like an all-terrain vehicle than golf cart, as it has massive wheels, a higher axel base, a roof and even a metal front grill. Ray said he loves the change in vehicle, as it gives him a newer, nicer method to get around campus, while also providing a more intimidating look as he goes from class to class.
"The kids are giving me a hard time about it," Ray said with a chuckle.

Administrative advisor Terrel Ray, whose main duties include checking to make sure USC student-athletes are attending class, has received a new electric cart to get around campus to perform his job.
