The divisional round of the NFL playoffs saw several Trojans step up into starring roles this weekend. Check out the stats for USC alumni from Saturday and Sunday:
- Mark Sanchez went 12-for-23 for 100 yards, one touchdown and one interception to lead the New York Jets to a 17-14 win over the San Diego Chargers.
- Tailback Reggie Bush had 217 all-purpose yards (84 rushing, 24 receiving and 109 on punt returns) and two touchdowns, including a dazzling 83-yard punt return score, to help propel the Saints to a 45-14 victory.
- Defensive lineman Sedrick Ellis had a sack in the Saints' win.
- Quarterback Matt Leinart went 7-for-10 for 61 yards in the Cardinals' loss.
- Safety Kevin Ellison had a tackle in the Chargers' loss.
