It's a quiet day up in the football offices today. Just hours after Coach Carroll made his announcement official, ESPN is on the TV in the background ready to show the Seahawks press conference announcing their new head coach.
Yet this is also a time for action. As players and coaches wait to hear more news about the hiring of a new head coach, recruiting calls are still being made, film is still being watched and weights are still being lifted. The players can't wait to get started with offseason workouts.
It has begun already.

Good job Matt. Stay focused on the future. Being part of the Trojan Family is something that can't be taken away. Family stays and fights for each other. You have many fans around the Trojan nation that stand behind the team. It's the players that won all those games. Pete Carroll was a great coach, but didn't score one touchdown for USC in his 9 years. Make sure the players know how much we appreciate them and will be cheering them on in 2010 and beyond. Fight On!!
