... and Joe McKinght moves on to the NFL Draft, as reported by ESPN this morning.

Who is next?

Pete, apparently. FML.

Joe McKnight played his only year without serious injury. He played the last two prior to that hampered by turf toe, light sensitivity, etc. Go get paid in the NFL. It is better to make NFL millions than perhaps get penalized by the school for his still unresolved driving incident. Hope Gable stays now or Coach McNair's stable is going to look more like a trailer.

why does everyone talk like cj is going to be the man.... im looking for curtis mcneal to step up!!!!

Seems like a lot of people are transferring lately...even COACHES!

it would be great to hear something from pete about this whole seattle issue, but wait that would be asking to much.

I agree. Especially with the Army All-American game tomorrow and signing day 3 weeks away. Several USC prospects were set to announce their decision tomorrow...not good, fellow Trojans. Not good.

So Coach Pete leaves for $35mil to Seattle and Aaron Corp demotes himself to a FCS school...crazy!!!

I am so happy for Aaron Corp. He really got the short end of the stick this year, and has so much talent and potential. I don't discount Matt Barkley, and good for him and his family, but Aaron had put in his time and given tremendous effort, and I will never understand Pete Carroll's reasoning as to why he never went back to his earlier named starting quarterback. One additional chance in the game against Washington where he was thrown in and expected to do miracles wasn't a fair shake. We never heard anything further about Corp or Mustain after Carroll's shining boy Barkley was put in. I'm sure the move will be a great one for him. Congrats and best wishes to you Aaron. You deserve only the best!

Fight on Trojans!Good luck Pete Carroll at Seattle! I wish I could say it ain't so. I hope we get Mike Riley at Oregon State. But he may be too nice. Must win baby!

Nope...Oregon State athletic director Bob DeCarolis is prepared to offer football coach Mike Riley a lifetime contract to remain at the school as a preemptive move against any offer USC could make to Riley if Pete Carroll does leave for the NFL next week, according to a report in the Oregonian.
