Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing won the AFC defensive player of the week honor for the second time in three weeks following his stellar performance in Sunday's win for the Texans, including 10 tackles and an interception.
Just a year out of playing for the Trojans, Cushing is sixth in the NFL -- and leads all rookies -- with 66 tackles. He also has 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, a safety and nine pass deflections this season.
