Three key players received relatively positive news on the injury front after doctor's visits tonight.
Tight end Anthony McCoy (ankle) and linebacker Malcolm Smith (shoulder) have been cleared to play Saturday against Stanford as long as they can make it through practices this week, Coach Carroll said.
Wideout Damian Williams, who sprained his ankle in Saturday's Arizona State game, is day-to-day and his status for the Stanford game will be determined later this week, Carroll said.
