Not trying to beat a dead horse, but here's video from the illegal fake field goal play during last weekend's Notre Dame game. Pac-10 officiating director Dave Cutaia distributed this video to the conference's head coaches, saying that the video proves Notre Dame used the substitution process to deceive, thereby making the play illegal:

The crazy thing is that there's a ref right there who seen the play unfolding. Its not like the refs do not know the rules, especially after there was an inter-league memo about these types of plays after the clemson/ga teach game... sheesh.

Kahlil, that's the first thing I noticed, too. The ref was right there! Is the ref clueless, or is there a conspiracy? I can't think of any other option.
It's just more proof, (like any more is necessary), that PAC10 officials are the most incompetent boobs on the field. They should ALL be removed and new refs brought in & trained to FOLLOW the rules & ethics, since they seem to know neither.
Someone should be prosecuted for this heinous offense. It's outrageous!
