Coach Carroll spent part of Tuesday night visiting with Stafon Johnson in the hospital, and Johnson used Carroll's Twitter page to send out an inspirational message.
"I'mma battle w/you even though my situation might not be as drastic," Johnson tweeted through Carroll's Twitter account. "But God has a plan and for you to believe...you must have faith & compete for who you are or want to be...13."
And then Carroll tweeted his own reaction.
"I am so impressed with Stafon's strength and faith -- he will find out some about his status in the next few days -- prayers and love his way pls," Carroll tweeted. "Thanks to all those who have reached out or asked about Stafon...he's doing very well and looks great and praying for good reports from docs."
